SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: The Chairs for Kids project is well underway now.The Crutches for Needy Children Project is well ahead and we have a small supply ready for a needy cause. The chair project requires some turning and some flatwork so there is something for everyone. We just sold our first chair so that validates our design. Come on out and help out.

About the High Desert Woodworkers Association
The High Desert Woodworkers is an organization that seeks to educate, promote and preserve the art and science of woodworking. We're doing this through demonstrations, charity donations and local community projects, while furthing our own skills.

We are located in the Southern California Victor Valley serving the cities of Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Adelanto, Lucerne Valley and Barstow, plus the unincorporated areas. Our meeting place may change from time-to-time but is now centered on D.C. Woodshop in Hesperia. We meet on the second Saturday of the month at 9:00am. All woodworking is welcome and encouraged.

We are a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners.
